Hi, My name is James & I’m a documentary wedding photographer based in Derry, Northern Ireland. My calling is to adventure throughout our emerald island to capture the heart & soul of your unique love story on the best day of your lives.

It all began in April 2014 when my first-born child entered the world. I wanted to document her growth through photography and captured as many moments as I could. I was an avid picture-taker on Instagram, using my smartphone, but soon moved to a digital camera. I explored as much as possible and took hundreds, if not thousands, of photographs of everything around me. In 2016, I was looking for something more authentic, so I asked a few friends if I could help photograph their weddings. I fell in love with the art and wanted to share my work with the world. I set up my own photography business shortly after, specializing in weddings, families, and couples. In September 2022, I went self-employed and have been loving life ever since, capturing people's memories and helping couples create their dream wedding photography. It's my passion to see their reactions when they view their wedding photographs.

I won Wedding Photographer of the Year for the County Derry/Londonderry region 2023 on January 30th at the Wedding Awards, in Belfast.
