Angels Wedding Cars

Angels Wedding Cars is a family based business in Bangor, Co Down.  We have been going since 2018.  We have modern wedding cars.  Three white matching Jaguar XF’s and a Land Rover Discovery 7 seater and will be adding to our fleet after another successful year growing and serving couples across Northern Ireland. 

As we outlined last year, Angels Wedding Cars has been a business long in the making.  We have always wanted to have our own business and for many years it remained only a dream.  We felt that our ideal business was to be one where we could help to look after people and make them feel that bit special but the question remained, only how to transform this desire into a practical business?  

In early 2017 a friend asked us if she would drive her in our Land Rover on her wedding day.  The day went well and a few days later, another friend who happened to be at the same wedding asked us if she would do the same thing for her later in the year as it was a bit different having a girl as a chauffeur.  A pattern was beginning to emerge and we realised there was a gap in the market for a female chauffeur - Angels Wedding Cars was born.

Where did the name come from?  We both had critical illnesses so close together and survived, we believe someone was watching over us and so the name “Angels” seemed a good choice!

We have been fortunate enough to win The Highly Commended Award 2018, 2019 & 2022 and won ‘Winner’ in 2020 that was the icing on the cake and helped to further build our reputation demonstrating to prospective clients the care, attention and integrity they would receive from our business.   

As the bookings came rolling in, Angels Wedding Cars have strived to provide the best but personal service for each of our customers. We almost prefer to think of them as friends’, just like the first two weddings’ we did right at the start of the journey.
